UMLMWS PRESS RELEASE
Dean R. Francis, Consulting Forester and Co-Owner of Upper Michigan Land
Management & Wildlife Services, Inc. was awarded the 1997 YOUNG FORESTER OF
THE YEAR by the Michigan Society of American Foresters (MSAF).
The MSAF Young Forester of
the Year recognizes outstanding leadership by a forestry professional younger
than 40 years of age in development and promotion of an individual program or
project or for a sustained leadership role benefiting the practice of forestry
and the Society of American Foresters.
Mr. Francis attended Bay De
Noc Community College where he received an Associates of Science Degree in 1985.
